Newspaper Articles

News articles are usually short and concise unless it is an in-depth investigative piece.  The usual articles have 5 parts:
•    The headline, which needs to grab the reader’s attention
•    The byline, the author of the article
•    The lead paragraph, which contains the: who, what, when, where and how of ;the story
•    The explanation, the facts and details that might interest the reader
•    Any additional information, that is the least important and can be cut if necessary
